Consulting
Productized calls are for questions. Engagements are for systems.
There are four shapes. Each has a defined deliverable, a defined end state, and a transfer step — because a consulting dependency is a failure mode, not a business model.
The four engagements
| Engagement | For when | You leave with |
|---|---|---|
| Production Stabilization | AI is live and breaking | A production you can operate: instrumented, gated, with a runbook your team owns |
| Agentic Readiness Audit | Agents are about to get production access | Risk matrix, readiness score, prioritized remediation plan, 30/60/90 roadmap |
| Architecture Review | You are designing (or redesigning) the AI platform | Findings on the architecture itself, options with trade-offs, a recommended path |
| Team Onboarding | You want the workflow, not just the advice | A governed agentic coding workflow installed and adopted by your team |
How the work runs
- First, a paid deep dive. A 1-hour session ($350) is where most engagements start: I read your system, you get my read, and we both find out if the fit is real before anything bigger is scoped.
- Scoped by quote. Every engagement above is priced to its actual scope — your system size, team, and timeline. No package pricing for work I have not seen.
- Remote-first. Based in Los Angeles, working worldwide. Async-friendly; overlapping hours for the live parts.
- Transfer is in scope. Every engagement ends with your team operating the result, documented.
What the advice is made of
Everything recommended in these engagements runs daily on systems I own: a governed agentic coding rig with published weekly metrics, a production SaaS with real payments and an AI assistant, and the tooling underneath it. The recommendations are not distilled from conference talks; they are extracted from working systems — including their failures, which are the useful part.
For individuals and quick questions
If you need an hour of expert attention rather than an engagement, the productized calls stay available: 15 minutes ($100) for fit and quick questions, 30 minutes ($200) for a focused topic, 1 hour ($350) for architecture and hands-on problems.
Engagements are scoped by quote after a short call — the shape above is the shape, the size depends on your system. Start with a deep dive or email directly.
