Marcus Patman

Production AI engineer and agentic platform engineer. Founder of Adventure On The Wave, creator of Turbo Rig and Turbo Flow, operator of the Ancuria SaaS. 20+ years of production infrastructure.

I don't consult about agentic engineering because I took a course. I run the infrastructure, build the tooling, operate the SaaS, and use the workflow myself at production scale.

The short version

I've spent my career building, automating, and running Linux-based systems and cloud infrastructure — real production systems, from Fortune 500 enterprises to startups. I know what production looks like: what breaks, how it breaks, and why it always breaks at the worst moment.

Today that experience points at one problem: teams being pushed to put AI into production without the operational discipline to keep it alive there. That's the work — audits, guardrails, observability, and the agentic workflow that makes AI output trustworthy.

Roles

Systems I've run

Twenty-plus years across startups and enterprises, with production systems run at Intuit, Epsilon, Omnicom, and Yesmail — email infrastructure and data platforms at scales where "we'll fix it in production" is not a plan. The full work history and certifications: marcuspatman.space.
